Love My Library Week is October 19 - 24, 2026. This week, we’re celebrating the difference our public libraries make in communities across Antigonish and Pictou Counties— and we want to thank you for being part of it!
Join us at any of PARL’s seven library branches or online at www.parl.ns.ca as we celebrate everything that makes our libraries special.
Your generosity helps keep our libraries open, accessible, and thriving. Thanks to supporters like you, we’re working toward our $300,000 fundraising goal and have raised $75,000 so far. Love My Library Week is an opportunity to celebrate your support, raise awareness of the ongoing need for donations, and encourage our communities to invest in the future of their libraries.
We invite you to drop by any of our seven branches during the week to say hello, celebrate with us, and discover the many ways your support makes a difference.
To kick off Love My Library Week, PARL is launching its latest fundraising raffle on October 19, 2026: the Gift of Flight! One lucky winner will receive round-trip airfare for two guests to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination.
All funds raised will go towards supporting library programs and services in Pictou and Antigonish Counties. Thank you for your support!
How to Enter:
Tickets are available at any of PARL’s seven library branches for $5 each or 3 for $10*
*Please note that, due to government raffle regulations, tickets must be purchased with cash. Debit, credit, and e-transfer payments cannot be accepted for raffle tickets.
