When loving libraries isn't enough

Thank you to library supporters who spoke up to show their library love!

You made your voice heard when asked to speak to the provincial government about library underfunding and a possible tax on books. They listened and will not be taxing books! But the story hasn't ended. We still have the problem of public library underfunding. Governments past and present say they love libraries but fail to correct the problem. That leaves municipal government and the public library to make ends meet. It is not working anymore.

We have already cut some programs and services and there will be more to come. It is time to ask the politicians who love your library to fix the problem. We encourage you to talk to your Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Thank you!
