Summer Programs

Runs from June 23 - August 18 at public libraries in Antigonish, New Glasgow, Pictou, River John, Stellarton, Trenton and Westville!

Join us this summer as public libraries with the Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library gear up for their Summer Reading and Learning Challenges, in partnership with the 2018 TD Summer Reading Club!

After signing up with your preferred library or online, take part in reading and learning challenges and track your progress through your online account. Complete the challenges and be eligible to win prizes that you can pick up at your local library. You can also enter your name in for the grand prize draw of a bicycle, generously donated by the Adopt-a-Library literacy program.

Pre-register online between June 16th-30th and enter for a chance to win a NS Museums Family Pass!

How do I sign up?

Sign up online at www.parl.ns.ca! It only takes a few minutes. Just click the Join Here button below to register. Don't forget your user name and password!

How do I take part in the reading challenge?

This summer, we will be counting how many minutes you read. We challenge you to read at least 20 minutes a day. The more you read, the more prizes you can earn -- like stickers, buttons, and badges. Ask your library about our fun prizes!

Sign up online and log your minutes. You can keep track of your progress and earn energy credits to level up your avatar. You can also complete online challenges each week to earn ballots for great prizes!
