Samson Images

The following images belong to the MacPherson Photo Collection, which was donated to the Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library by Mrs. Marion MacPherson in August 1999.  It consists of a number of historical as well as contemporary images pertaining to the Pictou County area.  Some photos are reproductions others are original images. 

George Davidson First engineer, who was employed at the construction of the "Samson" and made the first run to the loading pier at the opening of the Railroad in August 1838.
