ACORN
The Atlantic Canadian Organic Regional Network (ACORN) is an Atlantic-wide non-profit co-operative formed in December 2000. ACORN aims to enhance the viability and growth of the Atlantic Canadian organic agricultural community through a unified regional network. We are a non-profit organization that promotes organic agriculture by:
*facilitating information exchange between and amongst organizations and individuals
*coordinating informal education for producers through to consumers
*networking with all interested parties both regionally and nationally

To attain these goals, ACORN coordinates an annual organic conference and trade show, maintains a regional database of all organic growers, as well as many other information and educational programs.
