Your library card allows you to use all of our services, including public access computers. Use it to:
It’s easy – simply fill out a brief form at the nearest Library location or fill out our online Library card application form. Your card will be mailed to you within a few days by our staff. All information is strictly confidential and is used for public library purposes only.
Library cards are free, and you can use it as soon as you get it.

If you are under 14, you must have your parent or legal guardian sign your library card application form.
You are responsible for any materials checked out on your card. Call us immediately if your card is lost (902) 755-6031 (toll free 1-866-779-7761).
Like most other cards, your library card comes with a PIN (Personal Identification Number). Typically, this is the last 4-digits of your telephone number. If you would like to change your PIN number you can call us, tell us your library card number, and we’ll change your PIN or login to Your Account and change your PIN.
